Story Hour Signups Start Now!
The Divernon Township Library is excited to begin another year of Story Hour for children ages 4 years – 4th grade.
Weekly Story Hour sessions will be held on Thursdays from 5:00pm to 6:00pm and begin on September 17, 2026.
Story Hour emphasizes the importance of reading and aims to get children excited to read! Children will also enjoy occasional crafts, games, and group activities. A light snack will be provided.
Due to limited space, all interested children must be registered by August 20, 2026. Registration must be completed in person at the Library. Please contact the Library at 217-628-3813 with any questions.

In Memoriam
If you would like to make a memorial donation to the library in honor of a loved one, please mail us a check at 221 South 2nd St., Divernon, IL, 62530, or bring it to the library in person.
Checks should be made payable to ‘Divernon Township Library’ and include the name of the person you are memorializing on the memo line or in a cover letter so we know who you are honoring with your gift.
